This is a DOS program. It is NOT a TSR.
BigTime times events in seconds, minutes, and hours. It handles an
event that lasts up to 96 hours (4 days).
Run Bigtime
You see the current running time at the top.
The bottom is for a timer or a countdown.
When you start up, the time gone by since the last time you left Bigtime
is shown at the bottom, in yellow.
To start and stop the timer, press the space bar. To start up again where
you left off, press Enter. Or Spacebar to start at ZERO.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The LOG:
You have just timed an event, or wish to make a note of the
time displayed in yellow when you start up. WHEN THE TIMER IS STOPPED,
press "L" for "Log". You may log in the last event (the one described
at the bottom of the screen) with "log it in". Simply enter in the
name you wish the event to be identified as, say "Billy's 100 yard dash".
The start date , start time, end time, and elapsed time of the event
are now automatically recorded in the log. To see the log, choose
"see log" from the log menu. If there is more than one item recorded,
you may sort then by the name, the elapsed time, or the start date
and time. You can remove individual items from the log by positioning
the cursor on the line to delete, and pressing "d". The log holds up to
1000 lines. Deleting the log will do just that, and should be used with care.
You may transfer the entire log at any time to a DOS text file by
choosing "write text file". If you choose headings, heading labels
are added. If you enter a title, that too is inserted at the top. Text
files are appended, so at a later time you can add on to the text file.
This does not clear the log.
